New View Counselling

Congratulations - you have started your journey. It takes time to search and decide, ‘who will be the Relationship Counsellor we will trust with our story?’ It takes courage to take the next step to call or book. You have already displayed dedication and commitment. You are on the right track, and I encourage you to keep going - you’ve got this!

Counselling can explore and create a new view of your relationships, yourself, and your future.

From the picturesque Buderim on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, I offer Face to Face, Telephone or Video Link expertise to couples faced with intensified challenges due to a FIFO work commitment or with adolescents who push the boundaries and create personal or relational stress.

Menopause and Mental Health is the other specialist area I provide a safe place to share your list and use all the language necessary to express your frustrations and be heard without judgement.

  • It takes courage to reach out and acknowledge you are stuck. It takes courage to try something new. It takes courage to keep showing up…. for yourself and your relationships.

  • You can trust that I will support you if you feel vulnerable. I will listen without judgement, and I will build you back up. Through professionalism, integrity and compassion, you will be safe.

  • Be proud of the work you are investing. Be proud of the growth you are nurturing. Be proud of the authentic, more aware and awesome person you are becoming.

While I have lived experience through these challenges, your perspective and current concern is what I respect, validate and will explore.

New View

Two people could look at the same view and see totally different things. What if your partner saw something different, does that matter? Not at all, but understanding each other’s perspective and point of view is when there is connection, acceptance and understanding.

After visiting my home town (one of them), Loxton in the beautiful South Australian Riverland, the locals would see freezing cold water, the people waiting in the car while I took a photo just saw a tree, yet I saw a place to rest, a place for life, the strength and growth in the tree and the movement of the water being about release, acceptance and moving on.

The visuals on this website represent natural beauty

and I hope to

  • inspire you to reflect on what perspectives (through thought or natural presence) come to mind for you, and

  • to support you in confidence to share and express your perspectives.
