She says: 'It feels like there always is a constant battle going on between my disabilities, people’s assumptions about me, and my strong desires to be identified and grow as a typical woman ... Our day trip to the Blue Mountains yesterday was a resounding success, filled with excitement, laughter, and cherished moments. As their dedicated aged care provider, witnessing the joy on our clients' faces as we strolled through the enchanting Botanical Gardens was truly heartwarming. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, we delighted in the vibrant colors of blooming flowers and the soothing sounds of birdsong. The leisurely walk sparked lively conversations and fond reminiscences, fostering a sense of camaraderie and connection among us all. As we savored delicious food and shared stories over a delightful lunch, the bonds of friendship grew stronger, and the day became a cherished memory for all.
