We are delighted to share the journey of our family's beekeeping history and the Biosota story in this interview with Martin Moodie. We are extremely proud to manufacture our award-winning Manuka honey here in Australia and share our premium golden nectar with the world! Being recognised for ingenuity, creativity and entrepreneurship is a huge honour for our team! #ManukaHoney #PremiumHoney #AustralianHoney #HiveToJar
Move over XO Cognac and high-end Scotch whisky, there’s a new ultra-premium contender coming to the world’s duty-free shelves. And one that I suspect shoppers who care about their wellbeing will be making a beeline for. The contender in question is Austalian company Biosota Organics, whose Manuka Honey 1717+ expression retails for an impressive A$599 (US$395) with Heinemann at Sydney Airport. That is more expensive than, say, Hennessy XO (A$520) or Johnnie Walker Blue Lunar New Year – Dragon (A$488). And it sells very well indeed. However, as you will discover in my interview with Andrey Zubko, who together with his wife Oxana founded Biosota Organics, there is an even higher expression. In the apiculture world, Manuka honey MGO 2100+ is the liquid gold standard – Andrey calls it “the Champagne of the fine dining world”. And I reckon, as the story reveals, we are talking Dom Pérignon. Andrey has had a helluva life journey as you will discover. But with post-COVID consumer interest in wellbeing at an all-time high, he may have hit a true travel retail sweet spot. https://lnkd.in/ggzAZqui Andrey Zubko Oxana Zubko Toni (Maria Antonietta) Martello BIOSOTA ORGANICS PTY LTD The Moodie Davitt Report Mark Lane Sarah Genest Irene Revilla Camille Bersola Ameesha Raizada Dermot Davitt George Tsoukalas Gina Vokis Gebr.
