Hill Road is a master planned development in Wentworth Point, Sydney, which is helping to transform the area’s legacy industrial areas into a thriving and highly liveable waterfront neighbourhood. Protecting these local waterways is imperative to the local community and council. Two Vortceptor GPTs will provide primary treatment to meet water quality requirements across the site with the closest of these devices just 30 metres away from the Parramatta River. Providing high-performance pollution removal capabilities, these devices will capture bottles, debris, rubbish, and sediment to prevent their conveyance to the riverside - featuring 100-year design life, non-blocking screen technology and cost-efficient maintenance. 📖 https://lnkd.in/ekQNsbax #atlanstormwater #engineeringsolutions #environmentalengineering #stormwaterengineering

Sustainable development practices help shape Velocity Park, Sommerville - with its close proximity to Western Port Bay and associated coastal reserve and conservation areas. Meeting water management best practice, and supporting environmental outcomes across this site, Atlan Stormwater provided a combination of Flowceptor, FlowFilter, and AtlanChamber assets to meet requirements for 2,000,000 litres of OSD, guaranteed hydrocarbon capture and high-performance pollution removal. #highperformance #stormwatermanagement #sustainabledevelopmentpractices #atlan

In our SQIDEP mythbusting series, we explain some of the core concepts that support this innovative, robust and repeatable framework for verifying the pollutant removal capabilities of stormwater devices. All rainfall events during stormwater device testing for SQIDEP verification must be documented, and reasons for their inclusion or exclusion submitted to evaluators. So, do these events need to be sequential? Find out more in our blog - 🌧️ https://lnkd.in/eqp2qwyN #atlanstormwater #SQIDEP #stormwaterdevices #SQIDEPmyth

On-site Stormwater Detention (OSD) is the cornerstone of water quantity management in modern urban developments - providing flood mitigation and future-proofing capabilities for stormwater runoff. Available for free and on-demand through the Atlan Catchment CPD Library, our webinar with Kurt Jensen & Peter Hancock explores stormwater detention infrastructure - and modular approaches to OSD that can be customised to meet a wide range of on-site footprint and configuration requirements. #greeninfrastructure #environmentalengineering #stormwaterengineering #civilengineering

Throwback Tuesday! We take a look back in our project archive at the installation of a 75,000 litre AtlanVault system to accommodate stormwater harvesting in Carmel Village, Sydney. Helping this mixed use retail and commercial hub meet its sustainability requirements and water re-use goals, the AtlanVault was installed in a 3-hour window - aided by its local manufacture, modular design, and precast concrete fabrication. #atlanstormwater #atlanwaterquality #engineeringinnovation #environmentalengineering #stormwatercommunity
