It’s International Pet Day! Bruno is Ascend’s therapy dog, and he loves hanging out with the team in the office. 🐾 Therapy and support animals offer a blend of companionship and healing. They help to reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, and offer a comforting presence that can lower stress levels. These animals can also serve as icebreakers in therapeutic settings, helping individuals open up and engage more effectively in their treatment. Bruno can also encourage our members to get more active, as he loves walks. They are not always just pets, they offer a paw to hold onto in times of emotional stress. 🦮 #supportanimal #therapydog #internationalpetday
