Improving the residential construction industry for both builders and consumers.

About us

We believe that residential home builders deserve to be earning more money for the service they are providing. And we also believe that consumers deserve a far better service than they are currently getting. But here’s the thing… You can’t deliver a world-class service on tiny margins, or without having the proper systems in place… The two go hand-in-hand… So in order to increase your margins, you need to provide a better client experience, and to do that you need to systemise your building company… And that’s what we provide at the Association of Professional Builders… Systems that generate more leads, more contracts and higher margins while improving the client experience. • Here are the emerging trends our team of Executive Business Coaches are seeing in the residential construction industry in both the United States and Canada. USA - 2024 will likely bring growth overall for the US construction industry, but with major shifts in demand patterns. - Single-family homebuilding will increase at a modest rate, which should more than offset the recent steep decline in multifamily construction. - Worker shortages will persist, and both wages and materials costs will likely increase more than in 2023. Canada - Canadian markets are continuing to soften generally. - There is low housing inventory caused by buyers holding off building and builders being forced to dial back production. - The Federal government is pushing for more affordable housing with incentives to homeowners which will increase the chances for builders in all regions to sign more contracts. - At the municipal level, governments are implementing zoning changes to allow for single-family home sites to be subdivided to increase the number and type of residential dwellings.

  • Our Executive Business Coaches have pinpointed several emerging trends within the residential construction industry in Australia and New Zealand this month. Let's delve into what's catching their attention: - Facebook and Google are not performing as well as they were, which is resulting in a slowdown in opportunities. - NZ inflation has not responded to interest rate increases so far, which reduces the chances of rate decreases for a while. - Planned timber increases have been shelved for a while in an effort to assist the construction industry, but they are on the cards to happen as soon as the situation improves. - AUS builders are still struggling to get good onsite staff.
