About ebm-papst A&NZ Pty Ltd

Established December 2005

We are the leading global manufacturer and supplier of fans, blowers and air moving products. We provide a unique range of air movement or specialist drives products. Our motor technology, engineering and logistics expertise will add value to your business. Visit us at www.ebmpapst.com.au.

ebm-papst A&NZ Pty Ltd was formed in December 2005 following separation from long-time partners. Since then, ebm-papst has grown and developed, and is now situated in a new head office in Laverton North, Melbourne, with offices in Sydney and Auckland.
Our products and innovations are developed in three main manufacturing and development centres, namely: ebm-papst Mulfingen (formerly ebm), ebm-papst St. Georgen (formerly PAPST) and ebm-papst Landshut (formerly mvl). At ebm-papst A&NZ Pty Ltd, we develop fan, motor and control solutions for the following applications:

· Refrigeration
· Air-conditioning
· Heating
· Ventilation
· Electronics
· Telecommunications
· Bio medical
· Automotive
· Sensors and actuators
· Prime movers

In order to achieve an aerodynamically optimum shape for our fans, we design fan blades, impellers and ducted housings to fit the application environment. From seemingly small details, such as the bladetip slip with winglets, we can achieve significant noise reduction with even higher efficiencies. We combine our expert drive engineering and aerodynamics with intelligent electronics for optimal efficiency, creating system solutions that work.

A concern for the environment underpins all that we do at ebm-papst A&NZ Pty Ltd. We have adopted the GreenTech philosophy and are committed to creating products that are sustainable and environmentally responsible. The GreenTech idea reflects our simple company principle: "Each new product that we develop has to be better than its predecessor in terms of economy and ecology." Year after year, we commit our knowhow and inventiveness to redefining standards with ever more powerful and efficient motors and fans that raise the bar ever higher.

By signing the Kyoto protocol Australia has followed New Zealand and committed its future to tackling climate change and global warming. ebm-papst has been addressing these issues globally and now supplies 36% of its turnover with EC or high efficiency, speed controllable motor technology.

Ultimately, the efficiency of GreenTech is measurable. For example by satisfying the strictest limits for energy-powered products that the EU has passed to date. These planned limits are not scheduled to come into force until 2015, but our EC fans already exceed them by far.
Moreover, we are pleased that our entire production chain regularly stands up to the scrutiny of environmental specialists. Awards such as

AIRAH Awards of Excellence
arbs Industry Awards - Refrigeration Product Excellence
arbs Industry Awards - HVAC Product Excellence
Cool World Industry Awards - Winner Excellence Award
Cool World Industry Awards - Green Innovator of the Year

clearly show that we can live up to our own high standards.

ebm-papst A&NZ Pty Ltd is committed to supporting manufacturers in Australia and New Zealand with innovative products and added value such that they can prosper in increasingly turbulent global markets.
