Tanya has been practicing physical therapies since 2004. Her training extends from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast and internationally in Indonesia and China. Tanya is trained in traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage (remedial, thai, shiatsu, kahuna/hawaiian, lymphatic), herbal medicine, reiki, nutritional therapy and Australian bush flower essences.
Heart centered approach to wellness with natural wellness ~ Special interest in women's health, nutritional medicine/digestive health, musculoskeletal and emotional/mental health.

Tanya grew up on the Sunshine Coast and became passionate about healthy living from a young age, getting involved in nutrition and fitness, then expanding into natural health. Pursuing remedial massage studies and operating a private practice led Tanya to study Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture where she completed a Bachelor of Health Science degree and registered as a Chinese medicine practitioner. Study options included hospital training in Nanning, China and lectures presented by doctors at the Guangxi TCM University which gave Tanya insight and experience in to the traditional and modern ways of the medicine.
Tanya dispenses Australian Bush Flower Essences within her Chinese medicine practice when emotional states and well being need a little extra support.
Reiki is another modality that Tanya offers. Tanya gains access to the higher universal self of the client through light placement of the hands in specific areas of the body, acting as a channel for this energy to flow through to the client, to aid in the natural healing process that we are all capable of.
Tanya's practice comes from experience, from the heart, with expansion of a 2000 year old eastern technique to maintain the energetic balance for healthy living, while educating individuals about positive changes they can make to their own lives. "Small changes such as seasonally prepared meals in accordance with individual’s needs, lifestyle habits or stress management can make a huge difference to the optimal results for individuals".
Tanya is member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (Registration No: CMR0001804652) and is a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA). She works alongside other healthcare practitioners in Mountain Creek, Caloundra and Maroochydore.
