A State of Deep Relaxation
Izaak believes many people have misconceptions about hypnosis and points out that all hypnosis is self hypnosis. It can be used as a tool for helping you achieve what you want. Hypnosis is simply a state of deep relaxation. When you are in this state you are able to access your memory bank. This can reveal valuable information about why you act or feel the
way you do, thus giving you the chance to replace negative thoughts with positive and empowering ones.
Belief Structures
Used in psychotherapy, hypnosis can reduce the number of sessions required to achieve the desired result. Through hypnosis you can access the past very quickly and by dealing with the past you are able to change the present and future. Izaak points out that our beliefs are formed by messages received from both internal and external sources and these belief structures condition us to think and act in certain ways.
Becoming Aware and Conscious
Regardless of whether these powerful suggestions are positive or negative, they most certainly have a profound effect on how we perceive our world. Negative and inappropriate suggestions reduce their influence over us when we become
