To users, online dry cleaning is virtually synonymous with dry cleaners, and to dry cleaners; it’s
a referral service. The Android, IOS and web app that connects users with dry cleaners using
their smart phone’s GPS capabilities, letting both parties know one another’s location and
removing the question of when the dry cleaner will pick up and deliver their items. In addition,
the ODC company also processes all payments involved, charging the users credit card, taking
a cut for itself (which is 10 % and cards services off 1.75% + 30¢ for domestic cards 2.9% +
30¢ for International cards), and allowing the dry cleaners to remove the remaining money from
their escrow account after a 14 day cooling off period, all in the background and completely
cashless.
