North Eastern Welding Co. Pty Ltd trading as NEWCO is a family operated steel, aluminium and stainless steel fabrication company. NEWCO was founded in 1954 by Ron James OAM (Dec) and is now owned and operated by his son Jeff James.
The business was located in Brunswick for many years before relocating to its current address in Thomastown in early 2000. The relocation was brought about by the need to upgrade facilities and increase size capacity to match the increase demand in work.
NEWCO is committed to fulfilling customer requirements by providing excellent customer service and attention to detail on all work performed, ensuring reliability and high quality products and services.
To uphold this commitment NEWCO only employs qualified and quality candidates. Current employees consist of Certified Boilermakers, Welders, Sheet Metal Workers, Machine Operators, Trade Apprentices, Factory Hands and Administration Personnel.
In addition, NEWCO also provides the following products and services: Design/Draftsman, Structural Engineers, Galvanisers, Powder Coating, Fitters and Contractors.
With the combination of laser, brake press, guillotine and fabrication equipment, NEWCO now act as a single source to achieve a completed product. This saves both time and money and gives NEWCO the absolute responsibility for getting the whole job right, as we handle the whole process from engineering drawings to the completed product.
