Matt and Mitch provided fantastic assistance to our family in purchasing a Central Coast holiday home.  They were thorough, knowledgeable and a pleasure to visit homes with.  Their video walkthroughs were as good as being at an inspection ourselves when we couldn't attend. It has just ticked over 12 months since our first investment property purchase. We were introduced to Sharp Property Buyers via a friend that had used them a few months earlier with a positive experience. Mitch was our first point of contact, making the effort to call us within the hour after I worked out I had a mutual connection. Mitch introduced us to Matt & Jede and from the outset we knew we'd made the right decision. This was our first IP and Matt & Jedes professionalism and passion put us at ease. We chose to be borderless investors, purchasing in regional QLD and the entire process was really professional but ultimately fun, educational, stress free and seamless. For full disclosure we did have an issue with a 3rd party Property Manager post settlement, our rental return was less than advised which affected yield but this was ultimately down to us not doing our due diligence with the Comparative Market Analysis and asking questions sooner. We will 100% engage the Sharp Property Buyer Team again and we wish the Team all the best in the future. The idea of a 'Buyers Agent' was foreign to us and the cost we thought questionable. However, we spoke to our selling agents and other who had used Matt Sharp's services, and we found his reputation and success rate admirable. He decided to put our trust in him and his team.
We spoke to Matt on several occasions for approximately a month prior to signing up. Discussing our intentions of purchasing a particular style of home in a particular area, and our needs and wants. During this time Matt was extremely co operative, helpful and generous with his knowledge, experience and advice, without obligation.
On sign up we met with him, discussed price, presented a detailed 'wish list' of what we did and didn't want and the areas we desired. Matt went to work on our list and 3 working days later, sent us a link to a home he felt meeted our requirements. We viewed the home 2 days late and loved it. The next day Matt put forward an offer on our behalf which was rejected. We wanted this house and were willing to offer more but Matt asked that we trust him. We held our breath and let him do his thing. His negotiation and communication skills are excellent, as he was able to secure the home for us at a very reasonable price. We believe Matt and the team saved us at least $50k on our purchase for which we are very grateful.
We found Matt to be so easy to talk to, deal with and trust. He is a delightful young man, honest, open, trustworthy and knowledgeable and furthermore he loves his work. He knows the various markets and the value of properties within those markets and he works for his client.
I truly believe Matt is one of the good guys of real estate. He believes in fairness. We would highly recommend him and his team to anyone.
