Built back in 1855, Murphys is packed with local history, it was the birthplace of the Geelong Cats Football Club & a momentous meeting place for community affairs, dubbing it the ‘The Original Meeting Place’.
Today Murphys is a reinvigorated, contemporary pub, bar & restaurant that offers an extensive dining menu with wine to match, tasty cocktails & over 20 different local & craft beers on tap.
We are well-known for our popular function spaces, live music, sports & entertainment, while still retaining many of the original commodities, quirks & characteristics that made the old Argyle & Irish Murphy’s iconic.
