About
Bill is a dynamic professional who thrives on the fusion of people and technology. With a keen eye for enhancing efficiency and productivity in companies, he excels in helping organisations optimise their computer systems. From introducing new software and conducting training courses to implementing comprehensive systems and automating repetitive tasks, Bill's expertise covers the entire spectrum of IT consultancy.
Bill's journey began with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, where he honed his skills as a mechanical design and project engineer. Intrigued by the world of engineering software, particularly Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Design Automation, he transitioned seamlessly into this realm. Today, Bill is recognised as one of the foremost authorities on DriveWorks design automation software in Australia and New Zealand.
Bill's comprehensive DriveWorks certifications, including Xpress, Solo, and Professional levels (CDWX, CDWS, and CDWP), make him the sole expert in Australia and New Zealand with such extensive DriveWorks proficiency. Additionally, he holds the esteemed titles of Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE), further cementing his expertise in this field.
Not content with merely mastering his craft, Bill is also a certified trainer, possessing the TAE40116, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. His passion for imparting knowledge and empowering others is evident in his dedication to delivering effective training courses.
Beyond the professional realm, Bill embraces diverse interests. He has a purple belt in karate, although he finds it difficult to actively participate these days due to other commitments. One day, he says! He finds solace in the great outdoors, indulging in bushwalking adventures and immersing himself in nature. A keen woodworker, he takes pleasure in crafting pieces that range from purely utilitarian to beautifully aesthetic. And when he seeks respite from his endeavors, you'll often find him engrossed in a captivating book.
Ever the lifelong learner, Bill is currently undertaking the exciting endeavor of learning French. With a curious mind and a zest for personal growth, he embodies the spirit of exploration and continuous development.
For inquiries or to contact Bill, you can reach him at 0435 866 990 or via email at bill@idmconsulting.com.au. His unique combination of expertise, passion, and versatility is sure to make a lasting impact on any project or organization he engages with.
