Check out these additional photos from our recent refurbishment at 530 Little Collins Street - Exchange Tower. We've repainted and recarpeted the revolving door, as well as extended and replaced the tiling out front. In the food court, we've refurbished the existing furniture, installed new lighting, repainted the walls and ceiling, and removed the sheen from the floor for a matte look. Out the back, we've trimmed the deck back a bit and installed bi-fold windows to keep out the chill and secure the building. That's a wrap on this project, and time to move onto the next. We're in a mad rush to get the joinery installed, the decal on the mirror, the lift skins and call buttons replaced, and booking in a final site clean. The last 5% of the project is always the most stressful, but we're eager to get the photographer through to take the final photos, ready to showcase next week. Video Time! We were really pleased with how everything turned out, so we made a video about it. We took a sustainable approach by recycling old chairs and using second-hand ones. Instead of replacing the tables, we matched them by scorching and sealing the timber, and it looks great. We're also updating some other existing components as part of our eco-friendly efforts, and we're excited to share photos of the finished project in a few weeks. Now that all the tiling is finished, we're focusing on upgrading the feature wall behind the concierge area. Luckily, there was already a frame in place, along with services and shelving, which made it straightforward to retrofit new panels with timber beads around them. The end result seamlessly integrates with the wall and floor tiles. Next up, we're moving on to upgrading the joinery and removing the temporary desk. Alright, it's cleaning and caulking time! The wall and floor tiling turned out fantastic. It was intriguing to see how using two different sizes of tiles and various finishes transformed the space. The lift wall got a nice facelift, and soon we'll be updating the lift skins too. Exciting stuff ahead! What a change these bi-fold windows bring! We adjusted the deck a bit and getting rid of those old blinds made a big difference. Seeing everything finished in just one day was awesome.
