We are thrilled to welcome back Zita Kershaw, our Dental Assistant from QLD, who recently returned from an overseas volunteering adventure. Zita dedicated her time as a dental assistant on the Global Mercy, the world's largest civilian hospital ship, operated by Mercy Ships. This incredible organisation brings hope and healing to the poorest communities in Africa. Zita had been eagerly awaiting this opportunity since 2018, and she finally had the chance to spend two weeks on the ship in Sierra Leone earlier this year.   Zita was fortunate enough to witness the smiles on patients' faces after receiving dental treatment which was a truly amazing experience and incredibly rewarding to see patients regain their confidence to smile again, not just only aesthetically, but also because they were finally free from discomfort after weeks or even years.
