In a recent ceremony, we celebrated a significant milestone in education. Grade 10 students and dedicated facilitators of Flexible Open Distance Education (FODE) came together to receive well-deserved certificates for their active participation in the pilot of Reelae's School & Learning Management System (SLMS). The pilot, executed earlier this year, saw a select group of 50 participants from FODE's NCD and Central centres use the hybrid enterprise SLMS to enhance their learning experience. Upon successful completion of the pilot several key insights emerged, including an empowered learning environment, substantial improvements in communication and accessibility, the streamlining of administrative processes, and an invaluable exposure to technology, thus enhancing digital literacy. During the ceremony, Mr. Anthony Rayappan, the Principal of FODE, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all the students and facilitators, extending gratitude to Reelae's Founder & CEO, Mr. Samson Korawali. "We are delighted to see so many students successfully complete the pilot. This achievement signifies the possibilities that lie ahead." Mr. Rayappan further inspired the participants by sharing FODE's vision to continue enhancing learning through technology, with hopes of integrating FODE into the mainstream education system. "We wish you the very best! We aspire to engage more students in such transformative programs and mould this partnership to introduce technology-based education and digital learning," he concluded. Also in attendance was Reelae Founder & CEO, Mr. Samson Korawali, who also addressed the participants. He shared his personal experiences offering encouragement to the students. "The opportunity here for FODE, encompassing both students and teachers, is that you are at the forefront of shaping the future of Reelae's SLMS. Together, we are committed to constantly improving this system. We are building this together for our people and for our nation." Mr. Korawali expressed gratitude to all participants in the pilot program and acknowledged their unwavering dedication. He acknowledged the ongoing work required to transform the education landscape in Papua New Guinea, saying, "Once again, thank you all for your proactive involvement in the pilot. Your feedback is invaluable. This is just the beginning of an exciting journey ahead, albeit a long one." #reelae #reelaeapp #SLMS #eLearning #FODE #flexibleeducation #PNGeducation #PNG
