About us
We are Sydney based independent sports turf consultants, turf agronomists and suppliers of professional turf products. Initially established to specialise in turfgrass agronomy and environmental services. Our turf agronomy services include turf safety audits, turfgrass and soil health services, and soil and water testing and interpretation. We also supply: Turf Fertilizers for sports grounds, golf courses and councils. Grass seed such as perennial ryegrass turf seed and tall fescue grass seed. Turf protection chemicals including turf fungicides, turf insecticides, turf herbicides, PGR’s and aquatic weed management products. Soil wetting agents and surfactants Turf pigments, grass paints and turf colourants including Vertmax Duo. Hard Open Space herbicides such as Numchuk Quad with its 12 month residual. We are also the agents for SeeGrow LED turf lights and turf fans.

Following on from our 2022 work the 2023 soil wetting agent trial up and running. Soil moisture at two depths (37 and 75mm), turf quality using a light box and wetting agent longevity over time. 9 products at label rates plus an untreated control. 6 replicates. The use of turf pigments on golf greens The use of turf pigments on golf greens is now standard practice at many clubs. These prolong the healthy appearance of turf by giving an immediate long lasting, natural green colour. They act as green grass paint. In 2023 we ran a trial of 6 commercially available turf pigments and turf colourants. The site was mowed at 3.5mm and is a bentgrass green. It is a 4 replicate treatment. Growth potential was 100% for the duration of the trial. We are intrigued to find out if some claims hold up in this intensively managed situation. https://lnkd.in/g2a89TxW

This is some work we did over 2022/2023 looking at some commercially available soil wetting agents. The trial ran for 200 days on a creeping bentgrass golf green. This is all data driven so we are have tried to be as independent as possible.
