    Looking through my coaching notes last year confirmed the biggest issue leaders faced. The hustle-led burnout. Literally, dozens of participants in our workshops and coaching (leaders) struggled with the tension between high achievement, workplace perceptions and soul-crushing burnout last year. Looking at the data, A Gallup study revealed a hard truth: 76% of workers hit burnout because we glorify the grind. But here's the raw deal—it leads to less: less innovation, less motivation, less health. Leaders have been spoon-fed a myth: More hours mean more success. Wrong. It often means more mistakes, more missed family dinners, and more burnout. Sadly, career and business outcomes are not primarily driven by hours e.g. hours increase does not yield a correlating amount of career or business outcomes. Last year, I focussed on quietly working with leaders directly to start breaking burnout through tactics and focused effort. Our focus at Team Buffalo? Don't grind, focus on tactical shift and healthy boundaries. Do not start 2024 by how many hours you clock but by your meaningful and sustainable impact. #culturechange #leadership #burnout
