“Whether they are famous actors or six-year-old children, I love working with anybody in the world of creativity,” says renowned theatre teacher Dean Carey. Dean Carey, the legendary theatre teacher renowned for coaching some of Hollywood’s leading stars, including icons like Hugh Jackman, recently visited us. As the founder of Actors Centre Australia, Dean also serves as MindChamps' Dean of Theatre. During his stay, he conducted training sessions for all MindChamps principals and teachers involved in the production of our signature graduation musical performed by our 6-year-old Champs. He also provided valuable training to the principals and teachers on the craft of directing musicals. MindChamps is the only preschool with a curriculum that brings together the four distinct domains of Education, Psychology, Neuroscience and Theatre. In fact, we are the only preschool to have a Dean of Theatre.
