It was great to have our General Manager Gaurav Bhalla speak at the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA)'s NSW Fire Safety Compliance and Networking Event. With significant changes in 2025, when AS1851 will move from best practice to become legislated in NSW, it was a timely education session on how it will impact the #emergencymanagement , #firesafetytraining , and #facilitymanagement industries. There were interesting presentations from Gaurav Bhalla First 5 Minutes Pty Ltd, Rob Broadhead 2020 Fire Protection , and Michael Marks from the NSW Building Commission. The Q&A session was a great sounding board that highlighted the level of engagement from #facilitymanagers and the anticipated impact on their business. Thank you to the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) and Nathan Taylor from JLL for hosting this important event. The JLL Head Office at 180 George St was the perfect venue for a gathering of industry specialists. If you would like to find out what these changes mean to you around the Emergency Planning or Emergency Management space, please feel free to reach out to Gaurav Bhalla or the First 5 Minutes Pty Ltd team. #FacilityManagementAustralia #FireCompliance #FPAAustralia #emergencymanagement #emergencyplanning #emergencyplan #firewarden #evacuation
