    We're delighted to share a new case study in the legal space ⚖ It's no secret that when it comes to law firm marketing, the stakes are high. When one new case can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, advertiser competition is fierce. It is not uncommon to see cost-per-clicks of $100+ for some searches because savvy law firms know that if that click converts, the ROI is orders of magnitude compared to the cost-per-acquisition. This was the exact challenge that our client, a major Australian law firm in the compensation space, was in. And to their credit, they'd done a lot very well: - Identified the right channels to be on and were present in an already ROI positive way - Clear, compelling messaging on their conversion-focused website - Strict adherence to Law Society advertiser guidelines, a rarity But what they didn't know was that a handful of hard-to-find settings buried in ad networks were exhausting their budget in ways they never would have allowed. These hidden costs were ruining ROI through a combination of budgetary wastage and opportunity cost. When we brought these issues to their attention and implemented fixes, this law firm experienced a near immediate uplift. They went on to have record-breaking month after record-breaking month in terms of new clients and revenue. Beyond the commercials, it gave us and our client a great sense of professional satisfaction to know that we helped a lot more people get the compensation they deserved from insurers who wouldn't comply without a fight.     Can we talk about website redesigns and SEO? Many brands have redesigned their site only to find out that they’ve lost huge amounts of SEO visibility.     SEO website migrations 😅 For the past ~2 years, SEO migrations have been a big part of basically every day at Reef. Our client, a department of the government, needed to migrate a huge number of smaller websites into a main domain. Doing so would make it easier for people to find information and access services.     Are you running LinkedIn Ads? If so, here's something important to know. If a LinkedIn Ad has hashtags in it, the hashtag changes your ad targeting. Many people are unaware of this. An ad with hashtags will show to everyone you specify in LinkedIn Campaign Manager as well as everyone who follows the hashtag within the geography you are advertising in. This dramatically changes who will see your ad and where your spend will go. If you are looking for precise targeting, best to skip using hashtags.
